Ian Flemings burial stone
 
Ian Fleming (1908- 1964) is buried at St James', Sevenhampton.  British author and journalist, famous for his archetypal secret agent, James Bond, in 12 novels and 7 short stories, and for his children's story Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.  Originally a stock broker, Fleming served as a foreign correspondent in Moscow, and in World War II became a senior naval intelligence officer.
