Rowena Leonard has taken over the role of Church Warden from John Rees who is just about to start a 3 year course towards ordination. We thank john for all his years of hard work in the role as Church Warden and hope Rowena has a rewarding 4 years. (16.09.03)
 
In support of the Highworth Festival 2004 - The Swindon Male Voice Choir, well renowned throughout the South of England, held a concert in St. Michael's Church on 24th April 2004, accompanied by the Thamesdown Ladies Choir. The Right Revd Michael Hill has been appointed as th 55th Bishop of Bristol. The Rev. Mike attended our Benefice Communion Service on Sunday 14th September find out a little more about the man.(07.09.03)

The Millennium Window organised and paid for by the 2000 Highworth Festival has been installed. There was a special service on 29th September, 2002 at 6pm when we welcomed Bishop Michael and the Festival Committee and supporters to our Evening service of Harvest Thanksgiving and Patronal Festival with Dedication of the Millennium Window.(16.04.03)
 
A Service of Confirmation was held in St. Michael's on Saturday 29th
November. Candidates from: St. Leonard's, Blunsdon - The Lyddington & Wanborough Benefice and St. Michael's Highworth were very well supported by friends and church family in a full church.
