Sharing Jesus through faithful worship, care for one another and effective outreach

WelcomeSt Michaels from Lechlade Road

Welcome to the website of the parish church of Highworth in Wiltshire - the church of St Michael and All Angels, known locally as St Michael's.

At St Michael's we regularly have four services on a Sunday, each with different styles of worship.  When there is a 5th Sunday in the month all the congregations meet together for a single service, and we also have occasional special services, including a monthly Choral Evensong which rotates around the Benefice.  Click the links on the right of this page to see details of the St Michael's services.  Each week a bulletin sheet is produced with details of services throughout the Benefice as well as other events and information - for the latest weekly bulletin please click here.  There is also a monthly Parish News produced - please click here for the latest Parish News.  Older issues of the weekly bulletin and the Parish News are available on the Archive page.

Floodlighting
St Michael's church is equipped with floodlighting, and it is possible to sponsor floodlighting for an occasion or event - perhaps to remember a loved one, celebrate a birthday or anniversary.  The sponsorship dedication appears in both the St Michael's Parish News magazine (which goes to over 300 homes) and the Highworth Link magazine (which goes to all households in Highworth and the surrounding villages).  To sponsor floodlighting at St Michael's, please use this form.

Other Churches in the Benefice
There are two other churches in the parish - St James' in Sevenhampton and St John the Baptist in Inglesham.  Within the Benefice are two other parishes - that of Blunsdon (St Leonard's church) and of Hannington (St John's church).  Click the links on the right to find out about the other churches and their services.
